The Postiz home page: run your social media on autopilot with AI agents, 30+ networks, 7-day trial for $0

Postiz is a social media scheduler that publishes to 30+ networks from one calendar, with AI agents and a free open-source version, from $29 a month after a 7-day trial for $0. In my review it scored 8.4/10, and it is worth it if you publish on more than one network.

I created an account on October 3, 2026, went through signup, read the documentation and the code, and went through 43 published pages, videos and forum threads. This review covers features, pricing, safety and how Postiz compares with superX and Tweet Hunter.

How did I test Postiz?

I combined my own walkthrough with everything already published about Postiz. My method is described on how I test X tools.

  • Account: a Postiz Cloud account I created on October 3, 2026, up to the plan choice and the 7-day trial screen.
  • Official sources: every plan on the pricing page and in the app, the documentation, and the open-source code on GitHub.
  • Published tests: the calendar, the editor and the agent open with a paid plan, so for them I relied on 43 reviews, video walkthroughs and forum threads, read on October 2 and 3, 2026, including screen-by-screen video tests.
  • User ratings: G2, Product Hunt and Trustpilot.

My score weighs five criteria:

Criterion Weight Postiz
Features 30% 9
Ease of use 20% 8
AI quality 20% 8
Value for money 15% 8.5
Account safety 15% 8

Who is Postiz for?

Postiz suits people who publish in more than one place:

  • creators who post the same idea on X, Threads, Bluesky and LinkedIn;
  • brands and agencies that manage several client accounts;
  • developers who want to schedule from Claude, ChatGPT or their own code.

If X is your only network and you want deep X analytics and reply tools, a tool built for X, such as superX, will go further. See the best X growth tools to compare.

How does Postiz signup work? A 7-day trial for $0

Postiz signup takes an email and a company name, then shows four plans and a payment form. The trial screen says "Pay $0 Today" and gave me an end date 7 days later, October 10, 2026, with "Cancel anytime from settings".

The four plans sit side by side, with the features of the selected plan.

The dashboard follows: your channels on the left with an "Add channel" button, the calendar in the middle in day, week or month view. Video tests show that connecting a network takes one click and an approval on that network's own site.

Which networks does Postiz support?

Postiz supports 30+ networks, the big ones and many smaller ones: X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, Pinterest, Reddit, Discord, Bluesky, Mastodon, and more. You write one post, pick the channels by their avatars, then adjust the text for each network with its own character counter.

The editor has what a daily publisher needs:

  • threads and media;
  • a design editor and AI images;
  • a preview of the post on each network;
  • a signature;
  • a comment posted after a delay.

A post can repeat every few days, every week or every month. In the calendar, drag a post to move it, or duplicate it.

What are Postiz AI agents and the copilot?

Postiz AI agents draft and schedule posts for you through Claude, ChatGPT or another agent. Postiz now calls itself an "agentic social media scheduler". Every plan includes an MCP server, a CLI and an API.

Inside the app, an agent chat drafts posts and images for the channels you pick, and a copilot helps in the editor.

Video tests show the editor's AI button offering short, long or thread versions, with or without an image. As with any AI writer, check the length on X before scheduling.

Does Postiz work with X?

Yes, Postiz publishes to X through X's official API. Its code repository states that it does not scrape or automate actions on social networks. For X, you get:

  • threads;
  • up to 4 images or 1 video;
  • X's own settings: who can reply, communities, the "Made with AI" label and paid partnerships.

Two automations, called plugs, are made for X:

  • "Auto Repost" reposts a post when it reaches a number of likes you choose;
  • "Auto plug" adds a follow-up post to the thread.

X analytics show impressions, likes, quotes, replies, reposts and bookmarks over 7, 30 and 90 days.

Good to know: on the hosted version, Postiz removes links from X posts before publishing. The change dates from May 2026, and Postiz's team ties it to X charging more for API posts that contain a link. Put your link in your profile or post it yourself in a reply.

Is Postiz safe for your X account?

Postiz is built on X's official API, so it publishes the way X allows. X's automation rules still apply to what you schedule: avoid duplicate posts and keep auto-reposts occasional.

If your reach drops one day, check your account with our free Twitter (X) shadowban test, which runs the 4 checks (search suggestion ban, search ban, ghost ban, reply deboosting) in seconds. The shadowban glossary defines each term.

Is Postiz open source, and can you self-host it?

Yes, Postiz is a popular open-source project: 36.6k stars and 7.1k forks on GitHub on October 3, 2026. The self-hosted version has every feature of the top plan, with no limits, under the AGPL-3.0 license, and it is free.

Self-hosting suits technical users. You run it with Docker, handle updates and backups, and register your own developer app on each network. For X, that means paying X's API yourself, per post. For everyone else, the hosted plan is simpler.

What do users say about Postiz?

Users rate Postiz well on the main review sites (October 2026):

Platform Rating Reviews
G2 4.8/5 51
Product Hunt 4.2/5 10
Trustpilot 3.6/5 11

The praise that comes back most often:

  • the agent integration ("Agentic capabilities are class!", Trustpilot, September 2026);
  • the number of networks;
  • the open-source model with the same features as the hosted version;
  • a team that answers fast.

Postiz was also Product Hunt's Product of the Day on its launch in November 2024.

How much does Postiz cost?

Postiz has four plans, from $29 a month, all with unlimited posts. Prices read on postiz.com on October 3, 2026:

Plan Monthly Yearly (per month) Channels Highlights
Standard $29 $23 5 AI copilot, 3 AI videos a month
Team $39 $31 10 Unlimited team members, 100 AI images, 10 AI videos
Pro $49 $39 30 300 AI images, 30 AI videos

Is Postiz's price a problem?

Not if you publish on several networks. Unlimited posts on every plan make Postiz cheaper than Buffer from 5 channels on yearly billing, and the Team plan at $39 adds unlimited team members.

The Standard plan's 5 channels cover one person on X, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky and Instagram. The 7-day trial for $0 is enough to connect your accounts and schedule a real week.

Postiz vs Buffer: which is cheaper?

Buffer is cheaper for 4 channels or fewer: free for 3 channels, then $5 per channel a month, billed yearly. Postiz is cheaper from 5 channels on yearly billing. Standard covers 5 for $23 a month, against $25 on Buffer Essentials. Team covers 10 for $31, against $50. Buffer prices were checked September 29, 2026 and Postiz prices on October 3, 2026.

Postiz vs superX and Tweet Hunter: which one?

Postiz is the pick for several networks, while superX and Tweet Hunter are built for X.

Tool Built for Pick it if
Postiz Many networks you publish on several networks or want an open-source tool
superX X alone X is your main network and you want an AI assistant that works from your own numbers
Tweet Hunter X you mostly want a library of viral tweets and a CRM for X

Postiz vs superX

superX is built for X alone, with an AI assistant that reads your X numbers, reply tools and outreach. Postiz covers 30+ networks and is open source. Choose Postiz if you publish in several places, superX if X is your main network. Read my superX review.

Postiz vs Tweet Hunter

Tweet Hunter is also built for X, with a library of viral tweets and a CRM, from $29 a month. Postiz costs the same to start and spreads your posts across many networks. Read my Tweet Hunter review, or see Postiz alternatives.

Is Postiz worth it? My verdict

Postiz is the most complete multi-network scheduler in my reviews, and I recommend it if you run more than one social account. It covers what a creator or an agency needs every day:

  • one calendar for 30+ networks;
  • unlimited posts;
  • AI agents that schedule from Claude or ChatGPT;
  • automations for X such as auto-repost.

There is no free hosted plan and the first plan stops at 5 channels, but the trial costs $0 and the Team plan stays affordable. The free self-hosted version is a rare bonus for technical users.

If you run more than one social account, I recommend it.
