Why I built Shadowban Radar

I was working on a growth tool for X, the kind that replies to people automatically. It worked fine. Then my reach quietly fell off a cliff, and X said nothing about it. No notification, no email, no warning. It took me way too long to work out that the thing I was building had gotten me flagged.

So I went looking for something to confirm it. There are plenty of shadowban checkers out there. The problem is they didn't agree with each other. One said I was fine, another said I was banned, and not one of them told me how confident it was about any of it. That gap matters more than it sounds: two of these checks are direct observations and two are educated guesses, and a tool that shows them identically is hiding the part you actually need.

So I built the one I wanted. Four checks, each with its confidence spelled out, and a blank where a check genuinely couldn't be measured instead of an invented answer.

Then I hit the second problem. A ban isn't a single moment you test once, it stretches over days or weeks, and I caught myself opening my own tool every morning to see whether anything had changed. Which is a dumb way to start a day.

So now it does that part for me. It checks my visibility throughout the dayand emails me when it starts coming back. X still doesn't say a word. At least now something does.
